Country home in the Horowhenua, orientated to the North South axis for East or West sun to each room.
NZIA Design award citation:
_This pavilion-style house is efficiently arranged and uses high level glazing to the central living space to allow sun and light to penetrate, creating a greater sense of space in the crisp and clean interior. Extensive double glazing on each side allows for indoor and outdoor connections, enabling an easy flow to the terraces and the farmland beyond. _
Colour Award citation:
_Powerful use of dark green/charcoal colours on the exterior place the house into its rural context. The contrasting all-white interior reflects light and provides a neutral background to highlight much-loved furniture and artwork. _
